THE GRANDMASTER gets off to a strong start at the local box office!

Shaw Organisation is proud to announce the success of THE GRANDMASTER 一代宗师 Singapore’s box office!

With 26 prints Island wide, the highly anticipated film directed by Wong Kar Wai, starring Tony Leung, Zhang Ziyi, Chang Chen & Zhao Benshan has successfully reached S$200,000 mark for the sneaks over the weekend from 25th Jan to 27th Jan (3 days).

The film opened high in other parts of Asia, with Hong Kong’s box office reaching HK$20 million in 18 days of its opening, Taiwan’s box office reaching NT$30 million in 11 days & China’s box office reaching close to RMB$300 million in 21 days to date.
