DIVA Press Conference in Guangzhou

Emperor Motion Pictures hosted a press conference for the movie DIVA in Guang Zhou earlier today. Producer Chapman To, Director Heiward Mak together with Joey Yung, Hu Ge, Mag Lam, Carlos Chan, Wilfred Chan, Bonnie Li met the media for the first time today and introduced the modern love story to the media. Joey specially dolled herself up, dressed in a 7 inch heels with a bare back outfit before making appearance with Hu Ge.

When asked about her feelings during filming DIVA, she appears chirpy and shares that the crew is very young, making her feel as if she was going camping with her school mates during her youth. Sharing her experience with her first collaboration with Hu Ge, she comments that he’s a hunky guy, and it feels really good to have such a charming partner for the film. She laughs “ while filming a kissing scene with Hu Ge yesterday, my assistant commented that I frowned and everyone was laughing and my mouth wasn’t even open” On the third and fourth time, it started to feel much better and Hu Ge even said that he hopes to continue kissing with me”. Joey feels that it’s inevitable to feel stress in her first film, and divulge that Chapman invited her for many meals to convince her to be the female lead.

The film is schedule for release in second quarter of 2012.
