Donnie Yen to promote WU XIA in Singapore!

It's the news we've been waiting for- international superstar Donnie Yen will be coming to town, together with acclaimed director Peter Chan to promote their latest martial arts blockbuster, WU XIA!

The last Donnie came to Singapore was three years ago for PAINTED SKIN- and the public can catch him at the red-carpet gala premiere to be held at GV Vivocity on 19 July. 

WU XIA, directed by Peter Chan, features a group of stellar cast including of Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Tang Wei, Kara Wai andJimmy Wang Yu. It tells the story of Liu Jin-xi (Donnie Yen) who wants to lead a normal life with his wife Ah Yu (Tang Wei) and their two sons in a remote village. However, he is embroiled into a mystery murder case. Detective Xu Bai-jiu (Takeshi Kaneshiro) is tasked to investigate the case and meets Liu Jin-xi, whom he thinks is not a simple man. His curiosity in Liu Jin-xi’s background leads to a showdown between Jin -xi and the head of a vicious clan “72 Demons” (Jimmy Wang Yu).
