GANGSTER SQUAD scheduled to arrive in January 2013

Following the tragic shooting at  THE DARK KNIGHT RISES screening in Aurora, Colorado, it was announced that Ruben Fleischer's GANGSTER SQUAD starring Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Nick Nolte, Emma Stone and Sean Penn previously slated for a late fall release would be delayed to early 2013.

Now its local distributor Golden Village Pictures has confirmed that the movie will be released on 10 Jan 2013 release. A story about LAPD Detectives who are attempting to keep Los Angeles free of gangsters during the 1940s and '50s, it is believed that the ending involving a climatic shoot-scene at a cinema has since been changed in light of the potential sensitivities.
