23:59 will be getting a sequel, producers of the local horror hit announced today. The news comes after the encouraging box office success of the movie, which collected an encouraging S$1.43 million as of 16 November, two weeks after
its theatrical opening.
It is now expected to become the second highest grossing local movie this year after Kelvin Tong's IT’S A GREAT GREAT WORLD which took in S$2.43 million during the Chinese New Year period this year.
The sequel will also be directed by Gilbert Chan.
