18 MAY 2012 - "MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS" has overtaken Avatar gaining the crown of Singapore’s #1 all-time biggest title as of yesterday.
Earth’s Mightiest Heroes has officially become the strongest team in Singapore with a record-breaking box office of S$11.48 million in just 17 days! Marvel’s The Avengers had been tracking closely behind Transformers 3 (3D) and Avatar (3D) for the past one week. As of yesterday, it successfully overtook Avatar (3D) clinching the number #1 ALL TIME BIGGEST TITLE. Avatar (3D) ended its run with a final gross box office of S$11.41 million in 15 weeks of play while Transformers 3 (3D) closed at S$11.04 million after 10 weeks. The movie has already crossed US$1 billion mark worldwide.

14 MAY 2012 - "MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS is expected to cross US$1 Billion threshold at the global box office on 13 May, it's In 19 Days in release, The Walt Disney Studio has announced. In Singapore, it recorded the biggest opening day of all time and its cumulative gross box office as of 13 May 2012 is US$ 8.5 ($10.7 million). It is currently ranked the #3 ALL-TIME BIGGEST TITLE in Singapore following closely behind Avatar (3D) and Transformers (3D) in only 13 days of release.

"MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS" Smash Singapore's Box Office on Labour Day
2 MAY 2012 - "MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS" opened yesterday in Singapore with a record breaking ALL TIME BIGGEST OPENING DAY of $2.23 million. It has beaten the record of Spiderman 3 which also opened on Labour Day in 2007 with an opening day result of S$1.02 million.
Internationally, the film began its rollout in 39 territories outside of the U.S. (70% of the international marketplace), and opened #1 in every market with a record‐breaking international cumulative of US$178.4 million as of April 29.

3 APRIL 2012 - “Marvel’s The Avengers” will reward its fans on Facebook for their continued support of the film’s campaign with advance screenings in cities around the world on a first-come-first-served basis. In the U.S. fans will be able to experience the film in stunning IMAX® 3D.
This unprecedented screening event will enable Facebook fans of “Marvel’s The Avengers” in cities that have assembled the most fans on Facebook to win the first access to screenings of the film, weeks before the May 4th release in theatres. This event will kick off on April 14th at 10 a.m PDT with the top five cities in the U.S. with the most fans on Facebook: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston and Miami.
