Before the action-adventure SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS reunites the bromantic couple of Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law as Holmes and Watson respectively, Golden Village is giving you a chance to check out the authentic costumes from the movie.
In the film, Robert Downey Jr. dons a period-accurate two-piece woolen suit accented with an orange scarf, as his investigations bring him to 19th century Paris. The original costume and two others, worn by Jude Law and Noomi Rapace, will be on exhibit at Golden Village VivoCity cinema lobby (level 3) from 14 December 2011.
Dr Watson’s costume in the exhibition comes from the train scene – a heavy woolen traveling coat and three-piece blue wool suit- while the gypsy Simza’s tarot reader costume – a black and gold bolero jacket and bohemian skirts- can both be glimpsed in scenes from the trailer.
The exhibition will be launched at the Singapore premiere of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and will be open to the public until 2 January 2012. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge.
Display period: 14 December – 2 January 2012
Venue: Golden Village VivoCity Level 3 Cinema foyer
