THE FIERCE WIFE FINAL EPISODE kicks off to a "fierce" start

The Fierce Wife Final Episode opened in Singapore yesterday with impressive box office takings. Following the director and the main cast members, James Wen and Sonia Sui’s promotional visit to Singapore last Friday, the big-screen finale of the acclaimed Taiwanese drama hit series finally hit cinemas islandwide yesterday, much to the anticipation of many. Singapore is the first region to screen The Fierce Wife Final Episode right after Taiwan’s release in mid-August.

First day takings from The Fierce Wife Final Episode peaked at S$34,000, making the movie the highest grossing Asian film and highest grossing Taiwanese film in Singapore on its opening day.

Takings for The Fierce Wife Final Episode triumphs other Taiwanese films boasting stellar cast lineups released in Singapore this year, including LOVE (starring Shu Qi, Ethan Ruan and Eddie Peng), Perfect Two (starring Vic Chou and Ella Chen) and The Soul of Bread (starring Michelle Chen and Anthony Neely).
