TRAILER WATCH - CREED II

Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan reinvigorated the “Rocky” franchise with “Creed” in 2015. The movie was a box office hit with over $170 million worldwide and a critical darling with numerous mentions on end-of-the-year lists and an Oscar nomination for Sylvester Stallone.

This sequel brings Apollo Creed’s son Adonis (Jordan) towards the inevitable clash with the son of Russian brawler Ivan Drago, who killed Creed in the ring in Rocky IV. Steven Caple Jr took the directing reins from Ryan Coogler, who this time is executive producer along with Jordan. Jordan stars with Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Russell Hornsby, Florian “Big Nasty” Munteanu, Andre Ward, Phylicia Rashad and Dolph Lundgren.
