TRAILER WATCH - OCEAN'S 8 FIRST TRAILER

Like Ocean's Eleven, the female-driven caper spinoff OCEAN'S 8 begins with its lead Debbie Ocean, sister of George Clooney's Danny Ocean, pleading her case at a parole hearing, although it isn't long before she is assembling a crew to attempt an impossible heist at New York City’s yearly Met Gala. 

Featuring an all-star cast led by Sandra Bullock, the star-studded pic includes Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling's jewelry expert, Rihanna's mysterious hacker type, Helena Bonham Carter's fashion expert, Sarah Paulson’s reluctant mom and Awkwafina's street-smart hustler. The target is Anne Hathaway’s character, or more specifically, her $150,000,000 necklace.

Cameos are expected from Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Katie Holmes, Anna Wintour, Matt Damon and Carl Reiner. Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh wrote the script with Olivia Milch and current director Gary Ross.
