TRAILER WATCH - SICARIO 2: SOLDADO FIRST TRAILER

Unfortunately for fans of the original, director Denis Villeneuve, cinematographer Roger Deakins and actress Emily Blunt doesn't return for this sequel. But there is still Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin, who find that the drug war on the U.S./Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. Brolin's Federal agent Matt Graver reteams with Del Toro's mercurial Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro) to fight the war.

The original's writer Taylor Sheridan is also scripting this one, but Villeneuve hands over directorial duties to Stefano Sollima.
