WU XIA Opens 21st July in Singapore!

WU XIA 《武侠》, the latest action blockbuster directed and produced by Peter Chan 陈可辛, is opening in Singapore on 21st July! With the production budget of USD$20 million, the movie features a group of stellar cast including Donnie Yen 甄子丹, Takeshi Kaneshiro 金城武, Tang Wei 汤唯, veteran actors Kara Hui 惠英红 and Jimmy Wang Yu 王羽.

WU XIA also launches its character posters for the first time featuring Donnie Yen and Takeshi Kaneshiro. The posters highlight human’s various fatal acute points familiar to any martial arts fighter, creating an all-new martial arts realm of WU XIA. WU XIA tells the story of Liu Jin-xi (Donnie Yen) who wants to lead a normal life with his wife Ah Yu (Tang Wei) and their two sons in a remote village. However, he is embroiled into a mystery murder case. Detective Xu Bai-jiu (Takeshi Kaneshiro) is tasked to investigate the case and meets Liu Jin-xi, whom he thinks is not a simple man. His curiosity in Liu Jin-xi’s background leads to a showdown between Jin -xi and the head of a vicious clan “72 Demons” (Jimmy Wang Yu).
